About the role: 

As our BIM Specialist Technician, you’ll work closely with the BIM Manager to implement and evolve our BIM strategies. Your work will directly contribute to improving project efficiency, documentation quality, and ultimately, the lives of our residents. 

Your day-to-day will include:  

  • Develop and maintain BIM processes and systems aligned with Summerset’s BIM Strategy. 
  • Support project teams with BIM modelling and documentation using Autodesk software. 
  • Collaborate on BIM project documentation and standards to ensure consistency and compliance. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in design technology. 
  • Promote sustainable design practices that enhance cost-effectiveness and customer experience. 
  • Contribute to team projects and share knowledge to support continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure all work meets Summerset’s Quality Assurance standards. 

About You: 

You’ll have expert knowledge of BIM modelling software, in particular Revit, with a background in Architecture or Construction.  

You’ll also bring:  

  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit and BIM modelling. 
  • Strong experience with Dynamo, Navisworks, and programming languages. 
  • Skilled in creating Revit families and content. 
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil3D, Masterspec and 3D StudioMax is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality construction documentation. 
  • A collaborative mindset and a drive to continuously improve. 
  • A genuine interest in sustainable design and enhancing the lives of older people.
