We believe that a great cup of coffee and a warm smile can brighten anyone’s day. We're more than just a café, we’re a community hub, a space for connection, and a team that supports and looks out for each other. We’re now looking for two Café Assistant for our Blenheim village who shares our love for people and hospitality.
You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors.
Don’t have barista experience? That’s okay! For the right person with a great attitude and a passion for customer service, we’re happy to provide training and help you build your barista skills.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Providing outstanding barista services
- Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
- Handling cash and reconciling daily takings
We’re looking for two friendly team members to join our café. Our ideal shifts are below, however, we have some flexibility and are happy to discuss what could work for you:
- Sunday to Thursday: 9:30am to 3:00pm
- Friday to Sunday: 8:00am to 3:00pm
Qualifications:
You will bring a warm and positive approach to everything you do, along with:
- Previous hospitality or café experience
- Barista experience is an advantage, but we’re happy to train the right person
- A warm, friendly personality with great customer service skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to multitask
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
