Job Description:

As our Care Admissions Coordinator your role is to ensure that occupancy is maintained from a care and financial perspective. This means supporting our residents and their families to understand the financial process and the options and requirements of admissions into the Village. Our Cranbourne North village will be home to:

  • 160 Independent Living Units
  • 34 Serviced Apartments
  • 72 Residential Aged Care beds

With residents already calling our ILUs home, and our care centre soon to open, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Liaising with our internal teams when filling aged care beds
  • Orientate the resident and family to the facility, routines and what to expect whilst living at Summerset
  • Ensure any concerns are escalated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Liaise with families to ensure that rooms are emptied on discharge and any refurbishments are communicated
  • Keep accurate records of admission paperwork and financial documents whilst maintaining privacy

Qualifications:

You’ll be a true people’s person, someone who communicates with empathy and reassurance whilst supporting residents and their families with the transition throughout their journey with Summerset.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven aged care experience
  • Knowledge of AN -ACC finding model
  • Experience using My Aged Care portal to enter admissions and manage residents
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and be responsive under pressure
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise
