About the role:
Join Summerset’s Development Commercial team as a Commercial Development Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retirement village developments across New Zealand. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply your analytical expertise to optimise project feasibility, design, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility analyses for land acquisition and village development.
- Lead commercial management of multiple high-value projects (~$200m each).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise master plans and unit mixes.
- Prepare cost estimates, benchmarking reports, and value engineering proposals.
- Provide commercial insights for steering groups and board papers.
About You:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar, with 5+ years’ experience in construction or property development.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel, CostX, and other relevant software.
- Excellent communicator and team collaborator.
