Job Description:

This role is like no other we are looking for either 2 part time gardeners or 1 full time Gardener, and we are offering great flexibility to find that special someone.

Gardener 1 - will understand plants, pruning, bedding and how to maintain and grow our beautiful gardens. Advising and working on seasonal planting and plant health and maintenance.

Gardner 2 - will enjoy the physicality of lawn mowing, landscaping and hedges.

Or perhaps you someone that wants a fulltime role and can do both

Choose your days, choose your hours You can choose full time or part time between the hours of 7.30am – 5.30pm. Perhaps you need school time hours or early starts and early finishes, we are open to working with you to find a roster that suits everyone.

Either way we’re looking for a hands-on, reliable and passionate Gardener to join our beautiful new and developing Milldale village.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain attractive, well‑kept gardens and outdoor areas.
  • Care for planting, pruning, bedding, and seasonal upkeep
  • Keep outdoor areas clean, tidy, and safe
  • Support a welcoming village environment for residents

Qualifications:

You’ll bring your love and deep knowledge of gardening along with some proven experience to our team. You’ll have a genuine passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and have a warm, friendly personality always happy to chat with our residents

You’ll be a team player who can also work independently, managing your time effectively. Being well-organised, efficient, and physically fit will help you thrive in this hands-on role.
