Job Description:

We’re looking for two  Interior Fit Out Team Members  to support the setup of furniture and fittings of our beautiful Summerset care centre and facilities building in  Summerset Prebbleton.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week role for a 2-week assignment starting on 12 October 2026. 

We also have another full-time 2-week assignment starting on 30 November 2026. 

This position is focused on the placement and setup of  Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)  rather than construction or interior building work. You’ll play an important hands-on role in bringing the village spaces to life ahead of opening.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the team with the interior fit-out of resident and communal spaces
  • Receiving and checking deliveries against order lists and schedules
  • Unpacking and placing FF&E items in line with floor plans and placement guides
  • Liaising with suppliers during deliveries to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Photographing items and recording any damages or discrepancies

Qualifications:

You’ll be someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you’ll bring a strong awareness of health and safety while confidently communicating with others on site.

  • Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the day
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand floor plans (beneficial)
  • Proactive approach to Health & Safety, keeping it front of mind at all times
