About the role
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel with 2–5 years post-admission experience to provide expert legal advice and support across property transactions, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level lawyer who wants to broaden their experience in a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Review and negotiate land acquisitions and property contracts, conduct legal due diligence, and manage land transfer registrations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, providing clear and practical advice to support business decisions.
- Advise on obligations under the Retirement Villages Act, Aged Care legislation, and other relevant laws.
- Assist with board and shareholder documentation and ensure compliance with ASX/NZX listing rules.
- Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to deliver timely, accurate legal solutions.
About you:
You are a qualified lawyer, ideally with experience in property or commercial law. You have strong drafting and negotiation skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Who are we looking for?
- Law degree and current practising certificate.
- 2–5 years PQE, ideally with experience in property law or commercial contracts.
