About the role: 
As a Moving Specialist, you’ll be the trusted guide for our residents and their families, helping them navigate the moving process with care and professionalism. You’ll provide tailored advice, coordinate services, and work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver a seamless transition into village life across the Lower North Island.
Your day-to-day will include:  
- Deliver high-quality planning and support for resident move-ins.
- Conduct in-home evaluations to advise on belongings and moving options.
- Present to retirees on downsizing and moving logistics
- Maintain detailed plans and timelines for each resident.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
- Regularly report on customer satisfaction and suggest improvements.
- Keep marketing collateral up to date and available.
- Uphold Summerset’s customer-first values in every interaction.
About You: 
You’ll have excellent experience in customer service & coordination, with the ability to build strong relationships with external & internal stakeholders.
You’ll also bring:  
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar customer service or coordination role.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong relationship-building and communication abilities.
- A compassionate, solution-focused mindset.
- Confidence working independently and under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Presentation skills and confident public speaker
- A genuine interest in working with the retirement-aged community.
