Job Description:

At Summerset, we’re proud to create welcoming, vibrant communities where residents feel truly at home. As our receptionist ,  you’ll play a key role in bringing that vision to life. You’ll be the friendly face that greets residents, families, and our teams each day—someone who is positive and approachable with a can-do attitude to every interaction.

Your day to day will include:

  • Providing outstanding front-desk service to residents, their families, visitors, and our teams

  • Ensuring the safety of our residents, and helping our teams and families with any incidents that may occur

  • Offering timely and efficient administrative and management support to both the Business Manager and wider village team

  • Maintaining accurate document control and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

Qualifications:

You’ll be the kind of person who thrives on helping others, keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, and communicates effortlessly with people from all walks of life. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to support a dynamic management team, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll  also bring:

  • A strong background in customer service and administration 

  • Ideally experience supporting a management team with day-to-day operations

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills

  • The ability to work independently and take initiative when needed

  • A calm and empathetic nature who is first to lend a hand to support our residence and teams with incidents like trips and falls, confusion or upset or just a soothing chat over a cup of tea.
