Job Description:

As a  Registered Nurse  at our  Cranbourne North  village, you will be part of a team that provides quality aged care and creates the most enjoyable lifestyle to our care centre residents. Our residents are often here for many years, and our approach to care is resident-directed. The ultimate focus is their quality of life.

What you will do:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in line with AHPRA scope of practice
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to care staff, supporting a positive and collaborative team culture
  • Respond to clinical situations, emergencies, and provide care to residents across the village as required
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
  • Contribute to a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Maintain professional development and uphold Summerset’s values in every interaction

Qualifications:

As an experienced Registered Nurse, you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can positively impact residents’ lives.

You’ll bring with you:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (current practising certificate required).
  • A genuine interest in working with older people and an understanding of clinical services as they are delivered in a retirement village
  • Demonstrated ability to take the lead, remain calm under pressure and be emotionally resilient
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people, from residents, families and your colleagues
  • Australian working rights
