Our brand-new village in Cranbourne North is preparing to open its brand-new care centre – a premium facility nestled in a picturesque, established village poised to become the heart of aged care in the region. Job Description:
As a Grade 5 Registered Nurse at our Cranbourne North village, you will be part of a team that provides quality aged care and creates the best most enjoyable lifestyle to our care centre residents. Our residents are often here for many years, and our approach to care is resident-directed. The ultimate focus is their quality of life.
What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in line with AHPRA scope of practice
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to care staff, supporting a positive and collaborative team culture
- Respond to clinical situations, emergencies, and provide care to residents across the village as required
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
- Contribute to a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Maintain professional development and uphold Summerset’s values in every interaction
We have a variety of shifts available throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and nights. Shift options below:
- Night shift: 9:45pm - 7:15am
- Afternoon shift: 2.45pm - 10:00pm
- Weekend shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
This role will commence on the 16th March 2026 and will start with 2-3 week of full-time training, Monday - Friday.

Qualifications:
As an experienced Grade 5 Registered Nurse, you will be seeking a rewarding role and feel motivated by enhancing residents’ lives.
You’ll bring with you:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Grade 5 Registered Nurse (current practising certificate required).
- A genuine interest in working with older people and an understanding of clinical services as they are delivered in a retirement village
- Demonstrated ability to take the lead, remain calm under pressure and be emotionally resilient
- Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people, from residents, families and your colleagues
- Australian working rights
As our brand new village is set to open we will be only looking for Grade 5 Registered Nurses at the time. Please look out for future opportunities in the coming months.
