About the Role

As our Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our villages by leading the end-to-end sales experience for prospective residents and their families. You’ll be responsible for achieving sales and settlement targets while ensuring every interaction reflects Summerset’s commitment to respect, transparency, and genuine care.

Working closely with the Group Sales Manager, village leadership, and onsite teams, you’ll develop and execute effective sales plans, build strong community relationships, and act as a visible ambassador for Summerset both on site and within the wider community.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Owning the end-to-end sales process from enquiry to settlement, delivering against sales and settlement targets.
  • Driving demand through proactive outreach, community engagement, and market awareness.
  • Managing CRM data, sales forecasts, and performance reporting.
  • Delivering a respectful, transparent, and customer‑focused experience for residents and families.
  • Leading family relationships through resale, refurbishment, and move‑in.
  • Collaborating with Care Centre Managers and village teams to support residents with additional needs.

About You

You’re an experienced sales professional who combines strong commercial acumen with empathy, integrity, and a genuine passion for working with older people. You’re confident building relationships, comfortable managing complex conversations, and motivated by achieving results the right way.

You’ll Also Bring:

  • Proven sales capability with a strong ethical approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A genuine interest in working with older people and a positive attitude towards ageing.
  • Strong business acumen and a results-driven mindset.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • High standards of personal presentation and professionalism.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
