About the Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll provide expert commercial and cost management support across multiple projects from acquisition through design and construction. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, value engineering, and effective procurement strategies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and manage project feasibilities, budgets, and cost estimates
- Lead value engineering workshops and provide cost-saving solutions
- Oversee contract and tender administration, including risk reporting
- Maintain benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pricing
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, and suppliers
- Coach and mentor team members to develop commercial competencies
About you:
You’re a seasoned Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- 8–15 years’ professional QS experience, including civil, infrastructure, and residential/commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of Australian contract forms and construction practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Professional membership (AIQS/MRICS)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in CostX and Microsoft Office
