Company Description:
At Summerset, from the moment we start developing a village, to when our residents call it home, it’s the passion and dedication of our people that brings our villages to life. We are one team united by being part of something bigger – to bring the best of life to our residents.
Job Description:
This isn’t your standard internal recruitment role. It’s fast-paced, commercially connected, and full of purpose. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll partner closely with leaders across Summerset to attract and secure great people for our construction (white-collar) and corporate Head Office roles.
Ideally based in Auckland, we’re also open to Wellington for the right person. You’ll take ownership of recruitment across construction white-collar roles and corporate functions, while also providing support for operational village recruitment in Australia as our business continues to grow.
This role will suit someone who knows how to partner with senior stakeholders, understand workforce needs, and deliver smart, practical recruitment solutions. You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment activity, from briefings, sourcing and advertising through to screening, assessment, offers and onboarding support.
Construction recruitment experience, particularly within white-collar roles, is essential. You’ll be confident engaging passive talent, working closely with hiring managers, and using market insight to shape attraction strategies for hard-to-fill or specialist roles.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Managing end-to-end recruitment for construction white-collar and corporate roles
-
Partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs
-
Developing sourcing strategies for specialist, hard-to-fill and passive candidate markets
-
Providing recruitment support across operational village roles in Australia when required
-
Using recruitment data, market insights and best practice to influence hiring decisions
-
Coaching hiring managers on interview, selection and inclusive hiring practices
You’ll be part of a collaborative, experienced Talent Acquisition team that works at pace, supports each other, and takes real pride in helping the business grow with the right people in the right roles.
